This is a book no health care provider should be without. The information it contains is EXACTLY the information critical to have at your fingertips. On a side note, I wish they would make the cover more durable & able to be wiped off as needed. (Important for use in the field)

I'm a college student majoring in Environmental Health, and this manual was recommended to me by a professor. I was told that anyone going into the public health or medical fields should have a copy. I was very happy when I received it because it has every known and studied communicable disease with plenty of information for each one such as transmission, origin, prevention, etc. Very interesting read, and I'm sure I will be able to use it for reports/papers, etc.

It is like the "bible" for infectious disease epidemiology. The book is like a dictionary for every infectious disease, showing the clinical features, diagnosis,prevention, transmission etc.
